Witamy (welcome) to the Polish White Eagle Club in the heart of Canberra, the nation’s capital.

We’re a social club that has served the local community (Polish and non-Polish) with delicious food & beverage, live music, theatre & dance for more than half a century.

We are 100% pokie-free and proud to be the first club in Canberra to remove gambling from our premises. Culture has filled the void with a vibrant and growing network of community and recreational groups in the ACT using our facilities.

Our building - Nicholas Copernicus House - was designed by world-renowned by the late architect Dr Enrico Taglietti and built by the Polish community. It was formally opened in February 1973 by Cardinal Karol Wojtyla (who later became Pope John Paul II) during a visit to Australia. It’s been in continuous operation since.

Visit us today at 38 David St TURNER and enjoy our old world hospitality: modern Polish cuisine, craft beers from Poland and the Baltic States as well as the best selection in Canberra, of vodkas from the 'old country' and nations of the 'vodka belt'.

We’re open Wednesday through to Saturday from 5.00pm, with dinner service from 6.00pm. Private functions or events are by appointment.

Zapraszamy! (We invite you!)
